Our Mission: Our camps will help build character in your child and allow kids to express themselves as individuals. Our camps also promote social skills, confidence and resilience.
Ages: Students entering Pre-Kindergarten-3rd grade and students entering 4th grade-6th grade. Please use the grade that they will be entering in the Fall. Must be entering
grades Pre-Kindergarten-6.
Program Info:
*The program runs 7:30am-5:30pm Mondays - Fridays beginning Monday, June 23 through Friday, August 8. No Camp on Friday, July 4 in celebration of the 4th of July.
*We will be using the indoor and outdoor facilities of the schools. Camp runs rain and shine.
*Our experienced staff have an exciting summer planned, including theme weeks, field trips, music, movies, crafts, entertainment, theatre, cheer leading, Legos, dancing, environment (including walks and hikes), golf, magic, story hours, canoe/kayaking (age dependent), variety of interesting educational activities (music/art) as well as swimming for all age campers.
*Field trips may include Ferry Beach, Mini Golf, Bowling, Berry Picking, Roller Skating, Sea Dogs Game, Fun Town or York Wild Kingdom. Field trips subject to change without notification if inclement weather.
*Children must be potty trained.
*Our Staff is not trained for working with children with highly social, emotional, and or behavioral needs.
Important Info:
-Summer Camp Starts on Monday, June 23. (No camp on Fri. July 4)
-$700 for residents, $900 for non-residents. Cost is for the entire summer and includes field trips.
-A non-refundable deposit of $350 (Residents) and $450 (Non-Residents) is required at the time of registration prior to June 2 or you can pay in full.
-Final Payments Due on June 6, 2025.
-Your child(ren) will not be able to attend camp until your balance is paid in full.
-Scholarship Application Deadline: First come/First serve. Once funds are dissolved, there will be no more scholarships given. There is a non-refundable $25 cash application fee when submitting the application.
-The Sanford School Nutrition Program is offering free breakfast and lunch at each camp location this summer.
Camp Information:
- You must read Parent/Camper Handbook.
- City Waiver for participation is included in the disclaimer that you must sign to register online.
- Children must be potty trained. (If accidents happen we will call parents.)
- Fee Includes a Camp T-Shirt. This must be worn on Field Trip Days.
- Send camper with a jug size beverage and morning and afternoon snack.
- Send camper in appropriate clothing for outdoor play along with sunscreen.
- Breakfast may be provided by the Sanford School Nutrition Program (All Day Camps served)
- Please bring your own breakfast and/or lunch if you don't like what is on the menu.
- Swim Days for CJL and SPE K-3rd campers is on Tuesdays. Bring swimsuits and towels with you to the Springvale Recreation Area.
- Swim Days for Girl and Boy Campers is on Wednesdays. Bring swimsuits and towels with you to the Springvale Recreation Area.
- On Swim Days, drop-off and pick-up campers at the Springvale Rec Area, 298 Main Street, Springvale, ME 04083. (Follow the dirt road down to the Picnic Pavilion's and swim area.). Please allow additional time for drop-off and pick-up.
- Both SPE and CJL K-3rd grade programs are exactly the same.
- No camp on Friday, July 4th.
What to Bring Daily:
- Sunscreen
- Water Bottle
- Snacks/Lunch (Multiple Snacks)
- Bathing Suit & Towel
- Shoes & Sandals/Flip-Flops
- Change of Clothes
- Hat
