Park Use Rules and Regulations


  1. All facilities are tobacco free zones.
  2. No alcohol is to be consumed on public property.
  3. Please keep vehicles in designated areas only.
  4. Persons or organizations using public property are responsible for said premises. Damages are the responsibility of the individual or organization. Please inspect facility upon arrival and report any damage at your earliest possible opportunity.
  5. Large groups using facility - use carry in, carry out policy.
  6. Please return all keys and equipment as soon after the event as possible and no later than 48 hours. We require a $25.00 cash deposit for the use of signs/keys. The $25 cash deposit will be returned to you when the keys and signs are returned. 
  7. Certificates of insurance may be required of the individual or group.

Facilities are for family or group activities. No commercial use of City of Sanford property is allowed without prior authorization.  Some facilities requests may require your appearance before the city council prior to approval.

The Sanford Parks & Recreation Department reserves the right to terminate facility reservations if the above rules are disregarded.
