Teen Center
Join us this school year for our after school Teen Center. This will be a semi-structured program and activities could include: outdoor play, gym time, homework help, arts & crafts, and hanging out with friends. We are aiming to provide a safe place for kids to hangout after school.
This program will be for kids attending the Sanford Middle School, grades 5th - 8th. Hours of operation are 2:30pm - 5:30pm, and 12:30pm - 5:30pm on the last Wednesday of the month for early release. This program will follow the school calendar as to when it is open. During holidays, vacations, and early release due to weather, the Teen Center will be closed. There may be additional dates that we are closed due to large events happening at the gym - notice will be given and you will not be charged for those days.
There will be accountability and responsibility for the participants. They will be responsible to walk from the Sanford Middle School to the Memorial Gym once they are dismissed from school. They will sign themselves in with the staff. Permission may be given for them to walk home, if written permission is provided by their guardians.
