Summer Day Camp for Youth - Girls Camp 4th-6th Grades Memorial Cafe/Gym Memories, Fun and Friendships that last a lifetime!Our Mission: Our camps will help build character in your child and allow kids to express themselves as individuals. Summer Jr. Counselor Program - Jr Counselor Program *Teens ages 13-15 can register for this program if they are interested in working as a camp counselor in the future. - This program is designed to foster leadership skills, effective discipline, filling out an application, interviewing and other work related responsibilities. - Program participants will be expected to attend 2 or 3 days per week. - Jr Counselors will work along side their directors and camp counselors planning and improvising games and activities for the children at camp. - A mid-summer evaluation will be given to provide insight for better development as a possible future employee. - Camp location will vary with each participant. Camp runs from Mon. June 22 - Friday, Aug 7. - This is an unpaid position. Summer Day Camp for Youth - Girls Camp 4th-6th Grades Memorial Cafe/Gym Memories, Fun and Friendships that last a lifetime!Our Mission: Our camps will help build character in your child and allow kids to express themselves as individuals. Our camps also promote social skills, confidence and resilience.Ages: Students entering Pre-Kindergarten-3rd grade and students entering 4th grade-6th grade. Please use the grade that they will be entering in the Fall. Must be entering grades Pre-Kindergarten-6 and at least 4 years old.Program Info:*The program runs 7:30am-5:30pm Mondays - Fridays beginning Monday, June 22 through Friday, August 7. No Camp on Friday, July 3rd in observance for the celebration of the 4th of July.*We will be using the indoor and outdoor facilities of the schools. Camp runs rain and shine. *Our experienced staff have an exciting summer planned, including theme weeks, field trips, music, movies, crafts, entertainment, theatre, cheer leading, Legos, dancing, environment (including walks and hikes), golf, magic, story hours, canoe/kayaking (age dependent), variety of interesting educational activities (music/art) as well as swimming for all age campers.*Field trips may include beach, Mini Golf, Bowling, Berry Picking, Roller Skating, Sea Dogs Game, Fun Town or York Wild Kingdom. Field trips subject to change without notification if inclement weather.*Children must be potty trained.*Our Staff is not trained for working with children with highly social, emotional, and or behavioral needs. Important Info:-Summer Camp Starts on Monday, June 22nd. (No camp on Fri. July 3rd, observance of July 4th)-$800 for residents, $1000 for non-residents. Cost is for the entire summer and includes field trips.-A non-refundable deposit of $400 (Residents) and $500 (Non-Residents) is required at the time of registration prior to June 2 or you can pay in full. -Final Payments Due on June 4, 2026.-Your child(ren) will not be able to attend camp until your balance is paid in full.-Scholarship Application Deadline: First come/First serve. Once funds are dissolved, there will be no more scholarships given. There is a non-refundable $25 cash application fee when submitting the application. -The Sanford School Nutrition Program is offering free breakfast and lunch at each camp location this summer.

Summer Jr. Counselor Program - Jr Counselor Program *Teens ages 13-15 can register for this program if they are interested in working as a camp counselor in the future. - This program is designed to foster leadership skills, effective discipline, filling out an application, interviewing and other work related responsibilities. - Program participants will be expected to attend 2 or 3 days per week. - Jr Counselors will work along side their directors and camp counselors planning and improvising games and activities for the children at camp. - A mid-summer evaluation will be given to provide insight for better development as a possible future employee. - Camp location will vary with each participant. Camp runs from Mon. June 22 - Friday, Aug 7. - This is an unpaid position. Please know that this program is designed to help form you for future jobs. - Participating in this program does not guarantee a paid position in the future with Sanford Parks and Recreation. - To work for Sanford Parks and Rec you must be of working age and apply by April vacation week - staff positions are limited as many staff return summer after summer.- This work will also earn you volunteer credit towards your required hours for graduation (where applicable)Limited space is available at each location. Vacation Camp for Kids Pre K-6th grades - Vacation Week Camp - August 10-14, 2026 April, August, December and February Vacation WeeksVacation Day Camp is a program for school age children which runs the length of a vacation week when school is not in session. Campers are kept safe and busy with a variety of activities that will include: Lego's, games, arts and crafts, sports, field trips, movies, and just plain fun. Dates and times vary depending on the vacation weeks. Vacation Camp will be held at the Memorial Gym Cafe. Please check in @ door #6 (the side door of the Memorial Gym that faces Pride Elementary). Our staff work hard on finding new creative, fun games for our campers. Activities may include music, movies, arts and crafts, theatre, cheer leading, dancing, environmental engagement (including walks and hikes), story time, canoe/kayaking (age dependent), a variety of interesting educational activities, as well as swimming (season dependent) for all age campers. Children must be potty trained. Our Staff are not trained for working with children with HIGHLY social, emotional, and behavioral needs including children affected highly by autism spectrum disorders.There is no school provided breakfast or lunch. Please pack your own lunch and snacks for the day. Thank you
